Chiara DeJoy is the owner and planner at Chiara Events. She is Bay Area native, born and raised in Sonoma Valley and a San Francisco resident since 2007. 

 

Chiara's love of all things wedding began in 2012, when she started working as wedding ceremony coordinator for a church in San Francisco. With a diverse professional background including catering and hospitality, marketing, and project management she decided to pursue a career in wedding and event planning and start her own business, combining her nack for logistics and eye for detail. 

 

Meeting new people, learning about new cultures and traditions, and helping people bring their dream weddings to life are some of Chiara's favorite things about event planning. 

 

Chiara is an alumus of UC Santa Cruz, a proud banana slug. In her free time she enjoys walking in Golden Gate Park with her husband, cooking, and reading sci-fi and fantasy novels.
